Sadie Shea is a NYC based actor, dancer, and musician.

Originally from Austin, Texas, she graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in May 2025 with a BFA in Drama, having trained at the Atlantic Theatre Company, Experimental Theatre Wing, NYU Berlin Program, and Classical Studio. She recently completed the Schaubühne Prospero International Theatre Festival Mentorship Program in Berlin, Germany, and currently studies under Deborah Hedwell.

Since graduating she has performed in shows at Cosmic Cherry Arts Festival (Court Square Theatre), The People's Improv Theatre, IRT, The Tank, The English Theatre Berlin, Theatre im Delphi, and Humboldt University.

Sadie is passionate about creating new forms of interdisciplinary theatre. In 2023 she performed her first solo piece, Play by Ear, at La MaMa Galleria in collaboration with The Fool Volk and Itziar Barrio. In 2024 she co-created and premiered SMOKESHOW at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has worked with the music theatre collective, Opera Lab Berlin, as a performer and choreographer for the past two years. The group just premiered its newest show "You/Me/Alien" in February 2026. In April 2026, she wrote, directed, and performed her second solo piece, Battle of The Oranges, as a part of Cosmic Cherry Arts Festival at Court Square Theatre.

She plays cello in an experimental music/movement duet with dancer Oona Landgrebe. Together they have performed in“How Do We Play” and “Tense” in New York City, as the opening act for for SNL's Kenan Thompson, and at events in Zurich, Switzerland. She plays cello on Ava Monroe’s single “Something Worth Losing,” which can be streamed on all major music platforms.

She played a featured role in "I'll Be There" (Austin Film Festival) and starred in “Carmen” (Big Apple Film Festival, Messina Opera Film Festival, Philadelphia Latino Film Festival). She is currently in post-production for a dance short film she co-created with Nicola Oelofse.

Sadie was a 2021 National YoungArts Winner in Theatre. She is AEA and SAG-Eligible. With dual citizenship in the U.S. and Ireland, she can work throughout the EU and UK.
